Why Is My QR Code No Longer Working?

If your QR code has stopped working, here are the most likely reasons — and what you can do to fix it.

1. Your 10-Day Free Trial Has Ended

All new users receive full access to GetQR Pro features during their 10-day trial. After the trial ends, your dynamic QR codes will no longer work unless you select a subscription plan. Static QR codes remain visible but cannot be modified.

2. You’ve Reached the 30-Scan Limit on a Free Account

If you're using a free account, QR code scans are limited to 30 in total across your account. Once this limit is reached, your QR codes will stop working until you upgrade to a paid plan.


How to Reactivate Your QR Codes

To get your QR codes working again:

  1. Log in to your GetQR dashboard
  2. Go to the “Plans and Payments” section
  3. Choose the subscription that best fits your needs

Your QR codes will be reactivated instantly after upgrading — no need to reprint or change the code.
